Richard (Rick) Hollingworth is a trained Theatre, Film and Radio Actor/ Performer. He has worked on a number of successful projects, including a feature length film adaptation of the novel ‘The Butterfly Tattoo’ by Philip Pullman, Directed by Phil Hawkins, and ‘Bigboy_74’ Directed by Tom Marshall. Richard also has experience further afield in Writing (for Radio, Theatre and Film), Directing (for Radio and Theatre) Producing (For Radio) and Presenting (Radio).
Richard trained as a Performer at Northumbria University, gaining a BA (Hons) in Performance and studied Chu Sau Lei Wing Chun for 2 years under Alex Wright and Ben Biles at Cyclone Wing Chun in Newcastle upon Tyne. Richard has built a capability as a Hip Hop MC as well, honing skills in both Rapping and Beatboxing (performing under the Pseudonyms ’HerbalBurble’ or ‘Rick Nice’).
